Iridescent sea blue fused glass earrings

These iridescent sea blue fused glass earrings are sparkling like the Summer Mediterranean Sea these eye-catching little earrings catch the light like the sea catches the sun. Iridescent sea blue fused glass earrings in bright sparkly blue to make you think of Summer and holidays. I first made this design for a friend of mine who has bright blue eyes and loves the sea and surf. I liked them so much they became a standard and popular design. I hope you like them. They’ll make a perfect gift for your blue-eyed friends, there is something about this colour blue which seems to reflect and emphasise the richness of blue-eyed gals. The photos get in close to show the little glass gems and the sparkle colours. As they are iridised glass they sparkle in different colours depending on how they catch the light, sometimes pink or sometimes green or silver.

To fuse the glass together it is heated to over 800ºC and cooled really really slowly to form these little gems. Then I add the best of the stones to either post or hook earrings. I use 925 silver hooks and you can see the stamp on the pics. I can make clip-on’s too but I have to make them to order.
