Rainbow suncatchers, boho style, abstract and free, a little like watercolours

Rainbow suncatchers made from layers of glass fused together in an abstract kind of way using a watercolour technique. Recycled scrap glass, upcycling at its most cheerful.

These rainbow suncatchers capture the intense colour that glass is so great at doing. I make these from scrap glass and no two can ever be the same. Each one is a unique piece of window art designed to brighten your day. I try and leave a few holes and bubbles in each suncatcher, the design is flowy, like watercolours. It is one of my favourite techniques, splash splashing the colours around inside the glass while I think of rainbows, promises, people who make a difference to our world. COVID-19 may change the way we appreciate rainbows, and how the Corona lock-down has taught us to appreciate people for each contribution they make.
